Hey Folks:
y 72' XS650 (that I am parting) has the strangest choke-mechanism I have ever seen.
I reckon it is a choke....but I ain't really sure. The cable-controlled mechanism is attached to an actuator in the left cylinder exhaust valve.
What exactly is this? It would appear to affect the rate of exhaust gas escape from the combustion chamber but I ain't sure.
Can anyone elaborate?
