fasterpastor: xsjohn suggested the following advice to me regarding my turn signal problem: "Yours could be a charging issue..........goo d to have 2 led lights in the tail.....saves almost 2 amps there.......and the battery on these has to be good.........check the 2 brass rings with an ohm meter ....... lifting one brush........acros s the rings there shoud be at least 5 ohms.....and infinty to ground from either ring........." ; I'll try his suggestion out next.
20-Aug-2008 17:17:25 fasterpastor: I tried switching the bulbs left to right as suggested. This didn't work. There's still the same problem with the left turn signal not working below 25-30 mph while the right signal works with either set of bulbs.

20-Aug-2008 00:52:50 fasterpastor: I'm new to this forum. I own a 1980 XS650 Special. The left turn signal doesn't work when I'm traveling under 25-30 mph. It just glows steady at that speed or slower. Anyone have any advice? Also, I'm looking for a crash bar or highway bar. Any advice on where to find one in good condition? Thanks!

A bit of news on the site.
Hello 650Riders ™
We have installed a new auto ranking system so now if anyone makes a donation to the site it will not be overlooked in the user ranking icons. We will be making a new cool set of icons to go along with the new feature, so if you user icon changes – please no worries we are working on it.
