Erik Buell has been told to call it quits.
Say what you want about H/D, this sucks. An acquaintance of mine works at a Harley dealership and he says the mother corp is cutting production by 55% worldwide. The local hog-barn sold 136 units last year, and will be allocated 60 for 2010.
I'm guessing there will not be too many Buells on that list.

Thats a shame, they are really fun bikes to ride. Would love to have the new Aprilla motored one, can you say collectable ? Id have to keep it in the living room, to radical for my 65 year old body to ride

my friend down here had a blast he bought for 500 bux it didn't look too bad he used it to teach his wife to ride you can do cool things with those bikes but the cost of a new frame is expensive to like bob or chopper them out. I think alot of companies are taking a hit because of our financial situation it's a drag

Im going to find a 95 Thunderbolt S2 or 96-97 S3 before the prices take off. Rode a demo in 95 and loved it. 95 has all the best stuff on it before Harley cheapened them down
