I have put a new piston and kit into my front caliper. Reassembled in preparation of installation but as I look and attempt to test fit onto the rotor there doesn't seem to be enough room between the new pads to get around the rotor? I've looked at the fiche and am fairly sure I have it together correctly. Piston is at the bottom of the bore. It's the other pad and the piston side bracket that are giving me fits. I have the bolt that holds it together with the rubber bushing and sleeve tightened down. What am I doing wrong?

pumps,

Well, I'm only guessing here, but you do know that the caliper moves right or left on the rubber bushing?

I figured it out. I had the bolt going thru the bushing too tight. It needed some play to let the bracket move to get it on. I had put on a new bushing. Man was that old one all swollen.
