new here and thought i'd drop some pics of my build. it's a 77 that i purchased over a year ago for around $680 (bought it with a stator problem, so the guy offered to load it into his truck and deliver it, so i threw in a few extra bucks for the gas and effort). this past march i started having an electrical problem, so instead of fixing it, i just stripped it completely down and started making plans to chopp! check it out!!!
since i don't know how they post, the rolling chassis is the third pick in this set...

since the last pic, i have placed my pipes back on, cut new brackets for my midsets, and cut everything needed for my seat. going with a leaf spring off a buddy's jeep cherokee (he just lifted that baddy). got the leaf cut to length, with a little for error. attached here are a few pics of the space i actually have to work with for my batt and electric items. i've checked and there's not a whole lt of room for a full faux oil bag, so i am open to ideas if anyone out there has any!!! until the spring, i am just running the stock, individual rectifier and regulator, so i am looking at some real space problems here.
