I have searched through both service manuels and the performance profile book can not find information about the center stand anywhere.

I need to know if there is a nylon spacer between the end of the taper on the bolt that goes throught the frame and the nylock nut. When I bought the setup all i got was the stand the spring a bolt with a taper to threads and a nylock nut. putting the stand back on the frame i have space from the end of taper to start of threads approx 1/4 inch. My guess is there was a metal or nylon spacer.

Thanks in advance for any help

Cheers Kyle

ANY of those is possible I do have a washer welded into position already as you 78 has. I am purplexed the wrong bolt is always possible. I have had a heck of a time with the microfich. It shows the area but not blown up. I figure putting a spacer into the mix should not screw anything up. this is not a highly used area. I will take a shot tonight and post.

thanks Kyle

I do see what you are talking about. Maybe my bolt is the wrong one. I fit the nylon space this morning. I will take a picture over the weekend I have to figure out how to reattach the spring. This should be fun. I am going to go get a hook pick I think that should work.
This is what you get when you buy a frame and start to build. I have to buy every little thing and go off the service guides online sites and peoples word as to what fits and what works. I just want a good running reliable bike. I am getting closer

And thanks for you help

Cheers Kyle
