Hey there,

Just wondering how tall guys do on their choppers? I'm 6'4". I'm ordering forward controls from TC Bros. and also using their hardtail. I was gonna ask them if there is any way they could make the brackets longer for a better stretch... necessary? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

How do you mount HD controls to the stock xs650 frame?

I don't think the bike in the picture is a stock frame. I believe it's an after-market frame with HD control mounts welded to the frame during construction.

It's easy to mount Harley controls on any bike. You can make or buy mounting blocks with holes to match the Harley spacing and weld them onto any frame any where you need them.
J&P part number 5300002 is one. The other catalogs have similar parts.
Just a piece of steel about 1/2 square, 2 or so inches long with two threaded holes to match the spacing of the controls you want to use.

I'm all about being creative. Matter of fact, it is my plan exactly to mount HD style controls to my stock XS frame. I just thought there was something that bolted on that the guys here were using to accomplish that which is why I asked.
