When in gear, I pull the clutch level in, and the gear will not disengage.
I have a feeling when I replaced the push-rod seal I did something wrong.
What did I screw up?

Maybe you lost one of the ball bearings. When you had the left cover off, its easy for the ball, that is in the worm gear actuator, to fall out on the floor.
With the 2 short pushrods, there is a total of 3 ball bearings.
With the long pushrod, there is a total of 2 ball bearings.

If you lost it, its a 5/16" ball or .312".

TRG...for what it's worth, in the states they're also often called #10 ball bearings. Best, Blue

If you used the two piece rod....is the chamfered end of the short rod facing out and thereby able to fit in the socket receiving end of the push rod actuator and on the surface ot the ball bearing between the rod and adjuster bolt?

Thank you, that's what it was. I did lose that ball in the actuator. But when I replaced it and put the cover back on, still the same! Pulling the clutch in will not disengage the gear. How far in does the pushrod supposed to go in when the clutch is pulled in? Is it possible that I lost the other 2 balls that are inside the compartment? I'm stumped...

This is how you can tell if you have the 2 ball bearings inside. Measure from the engine casing/oil seal. The pushrod should be protruding 1 and 15/16 inches. If you have that, then the problem is elsewhere...................maybe the worm gear actuator.

You may have to readjust the actuator and cable.
