I just got done painting mine. I pulled it out and shot it down with an engine degreaser really good and hit it real good from all angles with the power washer. Try not to hold it on the gaskets as you could shoot water past them. Then I found a good Hi-temp paint and started taping things off. Shot 3-4 heavy coats on it and I think it looks great. Here is a pic of the paint. I did mine silver and black.

That does look great.
Where did you pick up that engine stand?
It looks a great deal more solid than the one I have.

I built the stand out of some square tubing a cycle shop let me have. It is the stuff the new bikes and 4wheelers come crated up in. It was actually my first time welding, so thanks for the compliment. LOL

Nice job -- What would you charge me to fabricate another one and ship it to Seattle?

I don't know if you are serious or not but you dont want to buy one from me. I am not very good at welding yet although my welds are strong enough to just hold up the engine.LOL I am sure someone on here with more experience than me would be more than happy to build you one.
When I get done with it you would be more than welcome to use itt if you want to pay shipping there and then send it back when you are done. I don't know how big of a hurry you are in though. I will be using it for a couple of more months. I don't even know if it would be worth it to you.

There is a guy on ebay who I think fabs them up and sells them pretty regularly. Seller ID is vwalley1 . I don't see that he has one for XSs on sale right now but has several others. $50 or $60 and they rotate. You could probably email him and get one made to order.
