Is there a reason I don't see xs's on here with LED lights? I am planning on putting red LED lights on the rear of mine hooked up through a run/brake/turn controller and amber LED run/turns on the front. Is there something I should know before I try this? Do I just not see it because most everyone is going for old school looks? Do I need a 2 amp load equalizer hooked up to each set of turns on this bike or will the system be find with just the LED lights? Thanks guys.

LED's won't work with the light checker in the circuit (light checker won't see enough load and will tell you you have a burnt out bulb) same thing if you have the turn signal canceller unit won't work with LED's, have to disconnect it and use a electronic flasher relay, using LED's with a 2 Amp load equalizer kind of defeats the purpose of using the LED's (lower current draw)

So I will have to not hook up the light checker and the self canceller? After disconnecting those two things I will just need to wire up an electronic flasher relay? Using led's this way will be benificial to the charging system won't it. Thanks for the help

Also if I decide to go with the halogen type signals from kuryakyn will I be ok? They are 20amp signals.

I have converted all my turn signals and my tail/brake light to LED's. I don't have a canceller or light checker, I rewired my bike completely and removed most of the extra stuff.

I also tried an adapter to run the rear turn signals as brake lights, it wouldn't work with LED's . When I stepped on the brake it would feedback and light one of the front turnsignals.

Don't need led's anywhere but the running tail light and brake for accent.......and that can be done without any fancy wiring or boxes......the rest like turn signals aren't used enough to hurt charging.............
well then maybe the headlight in led if it didn't cost more that the bike........... and worked decent.......
