A local seller is selling cheap forks, however they are 35mm and my application is for 34mm. Will these work?

no they won't fit your fork clamps, if they are off a later model you could change the whole fork

If you want to use the 35 mm forks you will need a set of 35 mm trees. They are on ebay pretty often.

I asked the seller if he had the trees and he does. Is there anything else I would need. Is the brake caliper the same? I'm planning on restoring my '75. However I'm not completely anal about it. Would there be any disadvantages to running the other trees and forks?

Are the 35 mm forks 650 forks? If so the 35mm forks use the late style calipers. I put a set on my 75 to use the late style dual disc/caliper set up. Works very well. Here's a pic.

They are 650 forks. Will my headlight brackets work? If so, I'll pick these puppies up tomorrow.

I had to use a file and enlarge the inside of the chrome trim pieces that go at the top and bottom, the ears fit fine.
