Greetings,
Just completed a project some here may find interesting. Took a friend's 83 Heritage, cleaned it up (massively!) and swiped the old Kenny Roberts color scheme for her new paint job:
(click on thumbnail pics for full-size)
...and for a new twist, the paint glows in the dark...
And as a bonus effect (totally unexpected), under strong mercury lights, the paint job shifts color to an electric creme yellow:
Just started playing around with this paint idea. It'll be interesting to see what's possible to do with it.

Nope, no decals - the entire job is paint.

Is that the proper Kenny colour?
Redish Brownish Yellow I think it was called?
Did you paint it the way the paint tag says, brown primer or whatever it was?
Looks fantastic anyway, well done!

next time I re-paint mine...... if I go for the Grand National paint job it'll be Black&Orange...... funny looking Yamaha.....
