Eight bikes at one time?
This has got to be a sickness.

favorite hell I like them all from the rat to the xsl. I like this new sportbike craze thing going on right now. had a guy ask me today how i felt about building him a motor for the jr under 800 lb tracktor pulls. He wants a xs power train. like that too. damm if i could only figure out a way to put one on the ol lady id be styleing. Think theres enough room to stuff one in a honda 70 chasis? hmm. Wait till you all see the next build. I may be getting old but there is nothing wrong with my imagination nor skills. I heard that Scotts chopper is for sale, has he advertised it anywhere? If not that would make some lucky person a nice turn key ride.

Measured temps on a few sport bikes...........running temps 180-190....water cooled for the good ones of course......fan comes on at 215 to bring it down at slower speeds ..........motors don't like high temps...hense automotive thermostats.....measure temps before going off on a lark with an air cooled engine....oh gosh I am going for more and ending up with less...unless its just for around the block.........surely no one there is going to be impressed.............

Hi Guys,
Nine in the shed, two run, five are more or less complete, and I'm chewing my nails to keep from getting a nice, running SR500 I found for $1000.00!!
It really *is* an addiction....
(Love the "Special", btw. Big engine, small bike = acceleration, rush, head-trip, possible death, not necessarily in that order. I want one....)
