Every time I order parts from Mike I try to get some little thing to fill out my order, hey I'm already paying shipping you know?
So I had gotten some bushings for the foot pegs as the were kind of cracked looking and when I pulled the off they almost look like there is no finish? Are they supposed to be painted like the frame? I'm thinking black Rustoleum after a good cleaning. Funny thing, I know this bike was dropped previously and thought I knew all the damage. When I pulled off the left foot peg, on the back side of the bracket was XS650 written in gold or yellow marker like they came from a salvage yard or ebay. Must've been replaced . Aaah those dastardly POs.

Are the left and right pegs the same? Mine are not...little bit different bends..??

Aaaah I already did the Rustoleum here at work as we have an ample supply and they came out nicely , new bushings installed too. I have used a black sharpie on the clutch lever ball of my ninja where the PO scraped it though. Works very well. I can think of lots of places to do that though.
