Just fixed my starter switch so it works now, when I use the starter to start the bike it starts fine but the starter gear doesnt disengage for about 1 second after the bike is running. It does it consistantly every time I start it, is this normal or is something sticking? Perhaps because it hasnt been used for a while?

Thank you!

Perhaps the safety switch has been removed or bypassed, or isn't working.

Thanks for the replies guys, 3 out of 4 of us have a starter that spins on afterwards for a second... I think it's officially somewhat normal Smile

Mine spins a little bit too. I think it may be a weak return spring.
