stuck motor:
A diesel and CRC combo was suggested.The guy at the auto parts store says they carry CRC products,but not a penetrant.Which CRC product am I looking for?
rusty tank:
Where am I most likely to find washing soda for electrolysis?.I've come up empty so far.

i just took a old tank and tryed CLR in it the calcium lime rust remover from walmart . it cleaned it up realy good ! i was suprized.

Diesel only will work. The washing soda is found in the laundry sections.

The Arm and Hammer laundry detergent powder is what you want for the elctrolysis. I used a little more then a cup to about 3.5 gallons of water. It can be found at Walmart as well.

CRC is a penetrating oil the pre-dates WD-40.

WD40 or CRC 556 wet start, penetrate. I didn't know what was available in the US.

Both are avilable here, Kroil is the best but hard to find.

I actually have some Kroil. In the old orange can.
Right now, I have a nice cocktail of MMO, Kroil and a shot of PB Blaster soaking in the cylinders. I need to get some diesel for the crankcase.

it's a great solvent and is real good for removing road tar.

If it moves and it's not supposed to...duct tape.
If it doesn't move and is supposed to...WD40.
That's all you need.
But nothing screams poor workmanship like wrinkles in the duct tape.
