Noticed about a week ago that my front fender was not bolted to the fork and is held on by only the fender stays.....Upon further inspection I noticed it WON'T bolt on to my fork because it's the wrong fender. Previous owner put a '74-'76 fender on it. Will pay reasonable price for a '72-'73 fender or can trade. Can trade the '74-'76 front fender or engine parts from a '75.

careful with the 73 front fender.... I bought one for my 72 and it is not the same. the stays are too short.

if you have the 72 stays, you might could use the 73 fender. I have a complete 73....pm me if you need it.

The stays on a '72 were longer because the mount points on the lower fork legs are down closer to the axle. The '72-'73 fenders will interchange with the correct stays.

ayrhen:
If you use the longer '72 stays the fender that you have should fit.

xs2Doug:
I might be interested in that '73 fender for a resto I'm doing if ayrhen doesn't want it
