I'm just finishing up a plug for a cafe seat for one of my xs's and will be ordering up gel coat mold release all that good stuff and I might make a few extra if anyone needs one.I was also going to make a couple different plug designs. I asked for peoples feedback but no one bothered,so I think I'm going to make a thruxton and maybe a ducati.I would encourage everyone to make their own custom design cafe seats.you can always use a square mold and a can of spray foam insulation to make a cheap foam block $5!!!

Is that spry foam soft? What is the name brand of that?

the spray foam becomes hard then you can shape with knives or whatever.forgot what it's called but you can buy it at home depot

How comfortable is it as a seat? Are you saying to shape the spray foam then cover it and thats it? I don't know much about fabricating seats but would like to give it a shot.

No you dont want to use it as a seat. Use it just to make plugs or add shape to your seat pan

Cafe Seats for A. 70-72, B. 78-79 Specials C. 80-84 Specials are moving. Our supplier builds for bike makers and told us today they were building permanant molds & fixtures for the XS seats since we are ordering so many ( previous lot was more hand made ) and hope to be able to get them done sooner. The stock XS1 seat ( batch 2 ) is done and will be shipped next week ( ocean). No way we can push these guys as bike makers get priority but they are working on them.
