I had no problem in pulling the seal off. Used a magnet to get the middle ball bearing out but the longer rod gets to the point where it is almost out but stops. Seems like something grabs it and it won't come out. Any ideas on why this might be stuck?

Pull the clutch cover and clutch pressure plate and shove it out.........marking the pressure plate to go back on the same...need a hammer impact to remove the 6 phillips screws on the presure plate.....and to re-snug.......

It may be catching on the edge of the bushing. I've heard of guys putting super-glue on a dowel and sticking it to the push rod. If you had a lot of play in the bushing, maybe its time to replace it. With the bushing removed, the rod would slide right out. Mikesxs "Tech Tips" shows you how to change the bushing.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll try the dowel first ... for obvious reasons.
