Well Im back at it again!I bought this bike about 2 years ago for 350,it looks nice in picks but it had been layed down several times by its PO

I saved all the original stuff from this bike for another 75 i picked up to be restored at a future date

just picked up a 78 xs 650 in real rough shape,but it had a title and was real cheap,not sure what im going to do with it yet,the motors siezed so i know itll be a rebuild,the seat pan and tank are rotted all the way through

What kind of rear fender is that and did you fab the rear support or buy it somewhere ?

And I would have to second the thanks to all the knowledgable members. I cant count how many times theyve helped me fix my bikes...especially when its one of those oddball issues that I would have never thought of.

the rear fender originally was an old dented up wide glide front fender i cut down,the sissy bar i bent myself

to make the sissy bar it only cost me about $6.00 for the round stock and the flat stock for the bottom mounts,all the ones i looked at online were like $120.00 for a chrome one
