so i went for my maiden voyage on my chop today and decided it'd be a great idea to lane split the a-holes that were taking up both lanes of traffic doin tewnty below, and nearly at it when i nicked a peg on one of the dudes cars. since i doubt i will chang my riding style to suit my slightly wide [28"] peg profile, i'm now lookin' to frisco the pegs on my chop and need the female mounts... does anyone know where to buy these so i can weld up some mounts etc....? that'd be great!

Wow.
I've never been in enough of a hurry to fucker up my scoot before, Kill.
At least not willfully.
I guess impatient folks like you are why Doctors and Nurses call Motorcycle riders 'Organ Donors'.

I gotta ask, Kill:
Did you stop and exchange insurance information with the owner of the cage you "nicked" -- Or did you commit a felony and just keep going?

If they are forward mountd, flip them to the inside of the frame. OR, fab new ones. 7/8 steel post with a hand grip works.

they are mid mounted right now. i want to frisco mount them, pull them up and in to the center an inch or so. all i need is the female part of the mount [the part the peg mounts into]. i could cheat and bend some all thread or some small diameter tubing, but it'd look a little better IMO mounted on the female mounts.

When are you going to answer my question. Kill?
Seriously:
Did you stop and exchange insurance information -- Or did you commit felony hit and run?'
(Make no mistake about it, Kill, if you caused damage to the cage you "nicked", however minor, and didn't stop, it was still felony hit and run)
Y'know, it's assholes like you who harden the minds of the cage drivers who cut us off, ride our tails and slam on their brakes when they see us coming up behind them.
