I've been looking through some forums and see guys talking about not having a battery on the bike, is this possible (assuming electric start is not functioning, hooked up or installed)?

As far as I know, with the stock charging system, you cannot do away with the battery as the stock system does not have a permanent magnet in the alternator. In order to generate power it has to have a magnet and the battery creates an electro-magnet when the ignition is powered up. There is a permanent magnet mod taken from a banshee charging system.

Thank you sir. Now that you mention the banshee setup I do recall reading about that in some other forums. Maybe that is the route that I will take. Thanks again.
