Hello, I am looking at the xsjohn needles for a 1981h with BS34 carbs and was wondering what setting to use for a total stock bike? What kind of performance change would I exspect at what setting? I also noticed a right and left is that sitting on bike or facing the front of bike?
Thank you for your time and response.

You can expect an easy 15% percent boost in performance......and a good 15-20 degree drop in operating temperatures especially on the hotter right side......and a bunch smoother to boot......best jets for my needles are 45 pilot and 135MJ.......the instructions that come with them are very complete.......
But my needles will not fix dirty pilot circuits or improperly adjusted carbs.....

John, can you please give me a way to reach you to order some needles from you and ask some questions? I am very curious about them and think they may help me. Thanks Rob.

Perhaps it means pre-menstrual,but in this case,I believe the reference is to a personal message.

I just put in xsjohn's needles, and they are awesome. There was an immediate, noticeable difference. It feels as if the power band was expanded. I recommend anyone that can, get these needles. Definitely the best money I have spent on my bike.
