Can someone post some pics of their XS750 tank mounting/support methods please..Im not happy with the look of the way mine sits & touches the frame underneath...

Lee, SLOWLY working on a project where I will have a 750 tank and Mike's seat for a cafe look and be able to change to the stock tank and a tracker seat for a tracker look.
I drilled the spot welds on the donut recptors on thr frame so I could remove. I will weld these to the inside of the stock tank.
Now for what you are interested in...I welded a short piece of 3/4" electrical conduit to each side of the frame. These will accept the tank mount donuts. The conduit was located to use the factory donut receptors on the 750 tank.
Take a look at the pictures on the following link and let me know if you have any ?'s If you go to the "xs tank" album over on the left you can see some detail on how I did the mounts.
