I just pickedup a small tank that has "made in England" stamped into the tank and dual petcocks. Is this a Wassell or would it also be stamped "Wassell"? And regaurdless if it is or not being that it was made in England what do you all think the petcock threads are British Standard or regular 1/4 pipe ?

It sounds like a wassel to me. I believe they are 1/4" NPT which is equal to 3/8" BSP.

picture please. BST and NPT are real close. Believe it is 18 v 19 tpi. You need to try to thread in a fitting to see what you have.

I'll try to get some pictures. I just don't want to screw up the threads being that the pitch is so close. Also if they are british does anybody know were a good set off petcocks can be found.
