Eventualy I want to make a seat like KB1957's but Im having trouble sourcing foam for the 'hump' ( UK sellers are quoting up to £40 for a 12" block ! )so heres one I started this week, the'hump' is a mould taken from the rear half of a standard XS tank, I'll 'meld' it to the GPR base I made from a standard seat and butcher some some standard XS seat foam Ive got laying around..If this works I'll go into production soon ..

lines are way off. not trying to be a jerk. For foam try the spray insulation stuff, make a mold spray it in then cut with hot wire or electric knife. You have to take into consideration how much the stock seat pan angles up over the fender otherwise your cowel will be way off.

Yeah, I know what you mean, what makes iot look worse is that at the moment its just sitting there with no brackets or rubbers.. I dont intend keeping the stock fender either & if I do use this mould then the rear loops going in the bin too..
Great idea about the foam Idea Ive got plenty of cans of that here ! Cheers
