after posting about a chopper type bike and finding out it was a gravelcrew bike I've been trolling there site. Lately the bike I can't stop looking at is the one below. I know it's not an xs 650 but I really like the lines of it. Anybody know what kind of tank that is??
I think that would be the perfect tank for what I'm working on. Something long and skinny but still rounded somewhat. Although I guess it may not look that long on an xs, so basically any ideas for a long skinny tank??? Also, I'll ask again as I asked on the other thread but it seems dead, what kind of short headlight brackets are they using (maybe there custom and don't exist!!!)
Thanks,
John

Hmm... a chopped xs750 tank might give you the same look.

some of these tanks gravelcrew and bratstyle use are narrowed reshaped stock tanks.
there are pics on the bratstyle site of the work they do to them.
easiest way would be to try and find an older (70's) dirtbike tank. they have a similar shape.
