just wanted to introduce myself. my name is Michael Davenport from s. carolina. i have an 81 xs that i have bobbed out. it looks really good. ive had a couple of problems with it in the last week, so i'll be posting some questions on here.....so please help me out.

Welcome Michael! You definately have found the right site! I've gotten lots of great help here. Post some pictures of your bike, it's always nice to see another XS.

Welcome from the Pacific Northwest, Grasshopper. Don't worry about the "Liberal-Conservative" stuff---it seems to vary with the amount of alcohol consumed.....or something. I do it myself. Feel free to dive in, we don't take it too seriously. (Just don't ever question the Fong Brothers--they must have some dynamite lawyers.....).
