Guys,
I'm working with another guy and we're considering a project to develop a new air shock. Specifically, we would be working on one that uses both air for the spring and damper.
The advantage to the system we're considering would be you could adjust not only the spring rate, but also the dampening rate for the shock.
Wanted to see if any of you fellas had messed with air shocks before and what you thought of them. If you could have the "perfect" air shock, what that might look like?

Sounds like the old Fox Airshox, they were awesome. I put a set on my XS roadracer.
