Where ignorance is bliss tis folly to be wise! Unfortunately in this case I'm not so sure.
I picked up a pair of Vm34s for what apeared to be a good price off fleabay a while back .I pulled them out to check out the jetting etc before putting them on the bike, and discovered when comparing them to the diagrams that the start/choke lever and it's guts aren't there.
Are these any use, or have I been suckered?

Interesting Razar, what exactly do you have?
Just a hole where the plungers meant to be, or is it blocked off somehow?
You can buy all the bits you need, if it comes to that.
If the carbs are off a snowmobile, you usually have to change the enrichener jet. Also slide cut away can be an issue. Of course jet needles & needle jets might be wrong.
I take it you've got this:
www.mikuni.com/pdf/vmmanual.pdf
There's 3 types of enrichener actuators, the lever that you most likely have seen in the drawings, the pull up type & a cable actuated type. They all do the same thing though, which is lift the plunger to open the enrichener circuit!
Be interesting to know what you have inside and where they came from!
Choke is only needed under 20*C if that helps!
Ian Williams Tuning is the spot for VM bits in Aus, you'll need your credit card however!

Thanks Yamaman. When I say not there I mean the casting has all the provisions, but it has never been drilled.
If you don't need a choke over 20C, They may be OK, as it doesn't go below that here except in the dead of winter.

Well I guess they're not off a snowmobile then!
Hope it works out.
Be good if you could post all that you have in there, jets, slide pilots ect.
Cheers
