Anyone tried the green performance coil from mikes? Part #17-6810? Just wondering if it's better than or worth the extra money compared to the high output replacement coil?

If you click his link to the test specs on the coil you will see it puts out in excess of 75000 volts, is it worth it ? I don't know, but that will fire almost any plug well.

Here's a post I wrote about the potential advantages of a high output coil:

Note: High Performance coils are sold out ( We brought in about a hundred by Air ) but the main supply is on the ocean now. Pamco can verify these coils will jump about an inch gap ( be carefull ), run without overheating and are of good quality. A coil similar to this would normally sell for $150.00 or more. For test results click on - " Click here to see test results"
in ELECTRICAL - Ignition parts section - See each coil listing.

My XS is very hard to start when it's cold and I think the high tension coil would help.

I tried to buy one off Mike's site and they were back-ordered. All the sites I checked were sold out. I'd wait but I need one by next week. The only one I could find was on eBay for $20 more, oh well, when you need you need it.
