|
Hello,
Is there supposed to be a cover over my battery? I have owned this 77 XS650 D since 81 with 7K miles and there has never been a cover.
This may explain the corrosion from acid on the top of my right side cover and the underneath of my seat pan.
Anybody?
Thanks,

Pumps,
Did you have to change out the battery box or the rubber boot to accomodate the lid? How does it attach? Does it just sit on top?
Any chance of a close up picture?
Thanks,

I came across a guy selling off his parts on craigslist for a bobber that didn't get done. I bought the new AGM battery, rubber battery box and lid for $50. It just sits on top and has that rubber strap.
