is there any esy way to get my bike on its center stand i have tryed to roll the bike back and sort of push the center staned down but it just slides.....this all so I can get a better look under my bike after i clean it of course. to see if the clutch push rod seal is leaking or what. i am loseing about 1 quart every 3 weeks.and sorry i know that part of my post is in the wrong subject.o and i will try to get pics.thanx

there is a grab bar/rail loop on the left side under the seat, left hand grips it right hand grips the handle bar to steady the bike and lower the stand legs to the ground firmly step down on the stand peg with your heel do not try to lift the bike it will pick it's self up

Am I nuts or is it really the other way around ... left had on left handle grip. right hand on rail under seat, right foot on center stand. Kinda push and pull them all at the same time ... kinda/sorta/.
I can't imagine standing on the left side of the bike with the right hand on grip and left hand on rail ... and having the power to 'git er' done'

you're right, left hand handlebar right hand loop it's all in the technique not force, except i had him standing bass ackwards

Actually if you put enough weight on the centerstand the bike will roll onto the centerstand with no other input. Technique is a only a crutch for the mass impaired.

i think the stand would slide. but at 170lbs 6'0 I wuld rather use technique
