Let me just start by saying I have searched the threads and have not found what I need. Also, a wiring diagram is absolutely useless to me!

Now, I'm trying to significantly reduce electrical bullshit on my bike. I'm running a boyer ingnition. Here is what I want: My ignition to consist of the boyer stuff, and my kill switch, I do not want a key and it will be kick only. Here's some questions:

The negative coming off the bottom off the bottom of the engine, since I'm eliminating the solenoid I'm assuming this would now go directly to the negative battery post?

Where do I go with the positive? From the battery to the hot between the regulator and the kill switch?

I rrun the headlight on its own circuit so just pretend I don't have one.
Any direction is a great help

Question #1 Are you talking about a heavy cable that runs from the solenoid down underneath? If you are , that is the cable that sends voltage to the starter. If you are kick only, have you removed the starter or is it still there? If it is still there, then you need to take that cable off.
Question #2 Hooking the kill switch to the brown wire from the regulator will give you power to the ignition. i would put in a switch between the battery and the rest of the electrics to keep the battery isolated when you are not running the bike. If you have a problem with the electrics, a switch will keep the battery from discharging.

Perfect, so I can just run the negative battery terminal to the frame-all set there.

Now, so, the brown can go directly to the brown off the kill switch, nothing else ties into that brown, right?

The red with white that comes off the switch, my boyer box is tied in there, thats where it's always been so I know thats ok.

What about the yellow that comes out with the main lower harness?
And now what do i do with my heavy positive battery wire and the lighter gauge red with it that has the fuse? Thanks for your help!!!

remove the heavy red wire, the light red fused wire runs up to the key switch where it turns into the brown when the key is turned on, going to kill switch where it turns into the red/white to the coils or boyer box

See, now that diagram is more my speed!!! Cept I have no key just the kill. So the red into the brown up to the kill switch. When the switch is turned to "run" the red with white becomes hot and powers the coil.

One question, that yellow that comes out with the lower harnes....what is it?

Thanks again for the help!!!

trips the safety relay when the engine is running so the E-starter won't engage with the motor running...... under no circumstances should you operate machinery with any of the safety features disabled or disengaged... it's for your own good you know Rolling Eyes
