I MAY have a failing CDI unit. But I am not sure - I have an intermittent stall problem.
I would like to pick up another working box to compare - see if I get the same stall with a different working box.
Obviously since I am not sure mine is bad - I don't want to spend a fortune fo the new one.

PS I have a good voltage regulator I would be willing to trade if someone needed one. (solid state for an 81)

I have a box. I dont know where you can buy them new and rarely do they come over e-bay so I would need $50.00 + S&H.

Thanks - turned out to be a bad solder joint -
I re-soldered the contacts on the circuit board -
and the problem went away.
