I am projecting a 1983 xs heritage special with the 64 front spoke wheel. I have a chance to grab a 1977 h type allloy wheel which is the look I want. Can I just swap them out with no other changes?

Yes, it should fit right on. '77 and newer used the later style disc. If it was a '76 or older, it would still fit but you'd need to use your newer style disc (which would bolt right on).

what are ya gonna do with the spoke wheel?? drop me a line and it is for sale (and the chrome is good to great)..
