so i got the bike back on the road. and it seams to have some front end wobble above 65 mph. it seams to have about 1/2 forwards backwards movment, and 2 or so inches of side to side movement wile i hold the front weal with my legs and turn the bars. all this movement is in the top end where the handle bars connect to the trianglare bar assemble

im thinking i need to do the washer stack mod. that i read on this sight?
ya/no suggestions?

The bars are mounted in rubber blocks to try to keep your eyes from rupturing at high speed. This movement is normal but the rubber pieces are available if you want to tighten things up a little bit.

the washers will tighten up the handlebars but a wobble above 65mph? look at wheels out of balance, tire beads not seatted, loose front fork bearings, loose rear swing arm, bad shocks, wheels/tires out of alignment, tires over/under inflated since you earlier said this was your first bike(?) have one of your friends that ride take a look at it experience is a great teacher jayel

i don't like it but others may think it's good, with the wheel off the ground (rear wheel remove chain) spin the wheel and mark low point where it stops, spin again and if it stops at the same place wrap a piece of thick solid core solder (plumbing supplies) about 2 inches long around a spoke nipple at the high (opposite) point, spin wheel again and check stopping point, if you have mag wheels you can get stick-on weights, check your tires spin them and watch the tread pattern if it crawls back and forth the beads aren't seated jayel
