So I saw this on ebay, thought I'd check it out. At first I thought it was kind of pricy, but after seeing everything it comes with, it may be worth it. Its a new rotor/stator and ignition system. Can be ran with or without a battery. Has programmed advance curve, comes with new coils and everything...

Ok so they say that if you use it without a battery when you stop at a stop light your lights go off and come back on when you start moving again... can't you use a capacitor or something like that?

Yeah it says a big cap is recomended... I think I'd just keep a battery in. If nothing else but to help keep the light up at idle. I'm not too fond of the idea of being rear-ended bacuse someone didn't see my dim tail light.....

With the exchange rate it will cost over $500. I can get you a RZ 250 Banshee, and if you had to couple it with Mikes Pamco kitt part no 14-0902. You could save $100. PM me.

DonĀ“t you people read the topics about RD-charging systems? maximum 150 US $ for a reliable, easy to mount and easy to wire system.

Please take the time and read all postings incl. the mentioned weblinks.

By the way, that english guy Leigh (nickname here Everything_to_xs) did that modification just two weeks ago. I sent him that adapter plate from Germany for 20 Euro incl. postage and package.

The last thing I heard from him was him and his well running XS with a new charging system on the phone. He said "Thanks, and do you want to hear it?" Of course I wanted, and so ...

OH I wasn't going to do it.... I'd have a hard time justifying $580 add on for a bike that cost me $300... and for $1200 I can buy a decent bike with electronic iggi and a better charging system. I just thought I'd bring it to light, since I've scoured what I thought was the entire enternet looking for parts for this bike and hadn't stumbled across that until last night
