Has anyone ever done this to their bike?
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotor...534wt_1195
I am interested to see if it works as good as they say and see how much it costs to buy all the parts.

Yeah I knew it was just the plans... Thats why I was asking if anyone has tried it. I didn't want to spend 25 bucks just to find out it is an unreliable piece of crap or a scam... Good to know I can get the plans for free now... thanks

Good to know. Don't pay anyone for plans. Not on ebay.. Thats nothing more than part numbers. and i'm sure you can get those from, well 650garage... but how is that any better than the point system in place? all it does is move the coil from the frame to right on top of the points, but aint it the same thing??

That's an ugly looking set-up. Much better to go with a Pamco ignition.

Well the price is certainly right. Might take some legwork...

ive read that hole thread and that ignition is similar but not the same as the ebay one. it does not use a cap and rotor. there is a guy on there that said he had come up with a cap rotor set up. must be the guy on ebay. he said he was gonna post pics but pry though it was to good to share and rather sell it. only thing i could come up with is that it's off a volkswagon. i'll try to dig up more info if i can. that link does have a bunch of good info though
