I am rebuilding a 650 and was wondering which gasket set to get and where to get it? I have found a few different ones for sale online but I dont know which one is better quality. Also, what all will I need in it and what do I need to buy in addition.

I am planning on tearing the motor all the way down. I have built a stand that holds on to the bottem 4 engine mounts. I will get an actual picture of it but for now I will try and post a picture of where it mounts.

I have been using Mikesxs gaskets to good results, however I try to use OEM gaskets when i can find them. I bought a Sump filter and gasket from Mikesxs, but went to Yamaha to get the gasket because the one from mikes was thin and too flimsy. The Yamaha gasket was of better quality. I also buy my engine seals from Yamaha. If you are going to do a rebuild, I would get a complete overhaul set, that way you will have the gasket or seal in hand when you need it. Good luck .
