650 Rider went offline for about a month at the beginning of 2010. In order to save the technical information that was here, XS650.com acquired the site and brought it back online as a read-only archive. If you were a member of 650 Rider, you will need to re-register at XS650.com

Been working for about 6 weeks when we have time. Thanks to all who have helped on the board! Still have some grinding to do on the frame welds where the seat was dropped. What do you think so far?

is that a harley rear wheel? i have been looking at rear wheels with spokes and set up for disc brakes. not to many for a 650. yamaha didn't make one.

Yes it is. I ground down the axle. the base that slips into the frame. its a good fit.

IMO, the tank is WAY too big and looks outta whack. maybe something smaller? I do like the bike.

In my opinion it's always nice to see something other than a sportster tank on these. (even though that's what I have and I like it.)

XSJohn, I see some sensitivity training is needed. 65 today is Dullaware. Went to Baltimore to get a stock seat for the 750 today so all is good.
