The newer 80 carbs are connected and use one throttle cable. I like this because it is easier to sync the carb, and have them stay that way.

y questions is can I put a set of newer carbs on my 75? will the boots match the heads? I know I will have to change my throttle and cables.

the 80 carbs are the 34 mm. you will need the carb holders to match. the holders will bolt right on. you won't need to replace the throttle, just remove one from the housing. the 76-79 carbs are hooked together the same way and are 38 mm carbs so you won't need new holders.
