I started building my XS650 Cafe Project 2 years ago. I got it to the point where I can start it. It was 90% complete. If you did not know any better you would saw it was complete. But I stopped the project when I moved from New England to California.
It is time ti fix the probelms I found during my engine rebuild. This is the first time I ever took an engine apart. It looks like I am off 1 tooth on the cam. I also have an oil leak at the head-jug gasket. So I think I will have to pull the engine out again to fix these problems.
WHat do you think?

to fix the one tooth off, NO, to fix the head gasket, YES, so just pull the engine and do both, the cam shaft can be removed without breaking the chain and then the head lifted to replace the gasket
