back from the dead...havent made a helluva lot of progress but its slowly taking shape...came up on a complete parts bike(maybe someone can ID it for me)and crates of various parts including what i was told was a rebuilt motor that is in awesome shape...also hoping someone might be able to ID the front end i picked up...was told it was off an 80?cc dirtbike but it has a 21" wheel with a mini drum brake that i'm really stoked on...any insight would be greatly appreciated...

apologies for the horrendously cropped and out of focus pics...posting them from my phone that only allows me to crop to fit the size limit...

Looking good. I dont think an 80cc d-bike would have a 21 but I could be wrong. I laced a 21 to a stock hub, but that drum looks a million time better than a disk. Whats the plan for controls? I plan on moving my forwards to mids this winter. Its just so dam cold here in NH!

quite possible your front wheel is off a little dirt bike lots of the little kaw's yam's ect ran those wheels like of looks like a yam to me tho' the only thing would be the axle size (dia.)

yea i hope i'm going to be able to find some new shoes for the drum...i really want to run it...haven't been able to figure out what the hell its off of though...
thinking of running mids as well...maybe something in between mids and forwards?? my legs are too damn long for traditional mids and not the hugest fan of forwards unless you're talkin some stealthy highway flipouts...

thats the only thing that has me second guessing running that front end/wheel combo...the axle looks reaaallllly thin...on one hand you could debate it was built for rough terrain/jumps etc...but on the other hand it was designed for a 300 lb bike....tough call
