I have a new condenser pack and want to install it. It looks like the condenser is located under the top motor mount. Whose idea was that?

Anyway, does anybody have a shortcut or hint for easy removal and replacement?

Thanks,

Not really, the tank has to come off and so does that top motor mount. Since the motor mount needs to come off to access all the cylinder head nuts and bolts for re-torquing, you could kill 2 birds with one stone here.

Years ago when I still was running points, I moved my ignition condensers after they boiled out from all the engine heat. They will be just fine if you re-install them under the seat.

Killer,
Good Idea! Will relocate them. Heat and Capacitors/Condensors don't get along.

Thanks,
