Where is the vacuum line supposed to attach? When I got my bike it wasn't running and the hose was just hanging there. I could only get gas when I left the selector on PRI, which makes perfect sense after reading several posts here.

I don't see anyplace for that hose to hook to other than the carb boot barb and it has a cap on it like it belongs there...

Thanks

The vacuum line goes to the barb on the left carb boot. If the previous owner had the line off and the barbed capped, maybe the vacuum part of your petcock is bad? Only one way to find out I guess, hook it up and see, be aware though that a common problem has to do with the petcock going bad and feeding the motor fuel through that vacuum line... could be why it was removed.

I'll play around with that and see if it's part of the problems, yeah I did mean problems...I think this thing has a mind of it's own, so I'm going to post other questions and see if anyone can help.

Thanks for your help!
