Seems like I have a small problem that I just don't know how to contend with. Maybe its fear of screwing something up and making it a littke more costly for my self. Seems like the previous owner of my bike or someone eles has been into the cluth. I notice that the heads of the phillips heads seemed a little worn or stripped as you could say.. The bolts seem to be in there tight and when i tried to unloosen it seem like the bolts are just getting a little worse.. I thought about trying to use vise grips but dosn't seem like i have to much clearance to grab.. So I wondering what I might be able to do to get them loose.. I have never took a part a engine before and sometimes I think I'm a little over my head.. But before I stripped down my bike to try to customize it I decieded to try to figure out why its jumping out of first gear when getting on it... any ideas on this one to????

buy a impact driver (the type you hit with a hammer) from sears or where very you can find one, using the bit with the best fit to the screw head they should come out no problem

The jumping out of first gear sounds like a bent shifter fork, Never messed with one myself but that is what I read on this or another forum...
