I take my side cover off every night to plug in my battery tender. I must not have gotten the cover on good last friday and it fell off on my ride to work.

Does any one have a spare side cover sitting around I could buy? I need the left side, but I'll buy a pair if that's all you're selling. I don't really feel like paying $80 at mikesxs.

Yea.....started safety wiring mine .......couple of months ago my kid came in and said .....did you loose something.........he saw it in the middle of the road unscaved across town just by blind luck.........copper wire is good for that and can be tucked around behind the lower clamp.....small hole......they are pretty ugly without the side cover for sure.........

Will an '80 side cover fit on my '82 xs650?

I want to confirm before I place my bid on ebay. I may get it regardless because it's only $15.
