I need know know if there is a springer front end (NO rack) I can put on my 1983 XS 650. I am willing to change the race and bearing but that's it. Thanks!

gsxr -- why do you want a springer anyway? Have you ever ridden a springer? Or, better yet, have you ever ridden a springer, overstock and raked?

Actually, I found it scarier than a pogo stick. It was more like standing on bed springs while riding a skateboard down a real steep hill.

I've never ridden a springer of stock length on a stock rake. Harley sells some of their Fat Boys set up that way, but I've never been astride one. I'd like to try it just to see how they handle -- all I gotta do, I guess, is ask some Harley hogger if I can ride his bike. . . .
