Hey guys,

otor is back in the frame after the rebuild. Also got my rough prototype gas tank and rear cowling up on the frame to check fit and clearances. I'm encouraged by how things are fitting so far.

From here I'll be relocating the electrics to eliminate the battery box and getting the carbs and fuel cell sorted out.

Wish me luck, I'm thinking with sand here...

Very cool, and not too far from home. What color do you think it'll be when you're done?

Thanks guys.

The tank is my own design. It's actually going to be a faux tank that will hide a fuel cell I'm putting underneath.

fyi: I'll have a nice mold for the tank and rear cowling when I'm done and will be able to make more fiberglass parts for those who want them.

CSC,

You've told me before, but I forget--where is your real fuel tank going to be?

The "real" fuel tank will be under the my faux tank. I'll probably have to do twin fuel cells on either side of the frame to get enough volume, but we'll see.

TX500?

...Sorry I'm slow...

I'm thinkin' silver/gray for the frame and flat black for the body work.
